DMN is an experimental audio show where we try to blend different kinds of narration with music, creating a unique atmosphere in which the two parts play off each other. Some of the stories are written by me, while others are in the public domain. So give it a go if you’re into that kind of thing!
This episode is built around The Flax, one of Hans Christian Andersen’s lesser-known fairy tales, and maybe one of his most beautiful. It is a joyful little story about transformation, acceptance and seeing every ending as the beginning of something new.
This mix follows the joy of becoming something new, again and again, through IDM, atmospheric dnb, arab folk, future garage and microfunk.
