Mean Old World

This week’s show is a free form collection of songs from early, middle and late, all blending tradition, pop, rock ‘n roll, soul, and so much more. Little themes and big ones that bring out the best in us and some old favorites as well. Tune in on Friday at 9 for Deeper Roots and we’ll give you some Mills Brothers, John Prine, Ivory Joe Hunter and John Sebastian…oh yes, a little Bo Diddley and some Bette Davis thrown in. Community Radio in Sonoma County is all about eclectic, non-commercial entertainment with voices of your community there to bring you home. It’s a mean old world but it’s also a big, old goofy one and we’ve got the sounds this week on Deeper Roots to prove it.
