What we have here is the result of what happens when you combine some of my favourite film samples, vocals and classic breaks into one solid, continuous mix. I have overlayed some of the finest samples from two great "ghetto" films along the way (can you guess which ones?). Most of the Hip-Hop used (all classic btw) have been remixed and blended into the mix. I was thinking of putting them out as tunes in their own right (what do you think?), but in the meantime enjoy them as part of the journey.
Kicking off with some heavy Dub & Dancehall, we settle into some Classic Hip-Hop and Funk territory. We then move into some remixes using a few Film & TV tracks, before winding down into some Reggae and a bit of Oldskool Jungle action to play us out.
Enjoy, leave some feedback and don't forget to follow me through the usual "Social Networks"!
*UPDATE* There is now a video mix I've posted up to accompany this, check it out here... http://vimeo.com/deejaybudd/babylonwarriors
