Accidental Anarchy

This set originally started out as a pure 'breaks' set. Sometimes you just don't know where the music will end up. I kinda just went with the flow on this one......it's got breaks, pure D & B, the more intelligent Bukem kind of stuff, but also the darker, harder side of the genre as well. The second 35 minutes of this set is considerably different to the first. That wasn't intentional - just a lucky accident. I think 'Drowning' by AK1200 is the centrepiece - The Terravita remix is a much harder mix of a seriously good tune. I really enjoyed mixing it both in and out. 'Rock Baby' was the perfect tune to carry the set onwards towards the end. I wanted to end the set with a strong song, so Acen - Window in the Sky' gave me what I was looking for....

I really enjoyed mixing this set. Anyone who says they like dance music should listen to this. I'm all about the drums. And the bass. And the breaks.......... Can you tell?
