So I had an afternoon free and decided to crack out my old trance records. I got a bit pissed and recorded a mix where I banged out the records I loved. No trying to be clever, no planning, just grabbing the next thing that came to mind and dancing around my living room. There’s lots of shonky levels, abundance of Lange mixes, a few misjudged selections and weird mixing.
These are the tracks I kept hold of, as they all meant something or brought back memories of people or clubs we visited. But there were loads I missed out and wished I’d included - Filthy Mind, Tony de Vit 'The Dawn', In The City, Don’t Be Afraid, Join Me… Also I was going to include my own trance opus with Adam White ‘Tear of a Rose’ (Google it - Number 5 in Mixmag Big Tunes don't you know) but decided against it. Maybe next time...
