Soundbytes kicks off it's first double digit edition with some fresh jazzy house from Tim Deluxe & Hamo before dusting off some classic Grace Jones and some disco house anthems from Palla X, Hiva and Gianni Bini's cover of a certain 90's Deee-Lite anthem. There "L.O.V.E.", some 80's inspired house (spot the samples!!) and some smooth soulful vocal house from Zepherin Saint and Husky along with some vintage Masters At Work remix action on Sinnamon's "Need You Now".
The second hour starts with my first attempt in years at an acappella / dub soundclash - FCL's "It's You" riding atop the iconic duck beats mix of Barbara Tucker's "I Get Lifted". This is followed by more 90's old skool house classics before we venture into main room territory with "Sugar", "Da Puta Madre" and then it's dark vibes of "Scrub The Ground", "Oh, Amazing Bass", the classic acid of "Hola Pappy" before we end with 2 anthems from CamelPhat and Nero.
