Happy Easter and welcome to Volume 47. For this 200 minute 40 track live extravaganza it’s back to familiar territory – i.e. top notch house music. The first half warms up with some funk, gospel and soulful house from the likes of Karizma, Nytron, Jasper Street Company and a new take on a 25 year old classic from Aly-Us, then the ante is raised with some harder sounds from the likes of Solardo and Green Velvet before hitting the big room sounds of future house anthems from Oliver Heldens, Fatboy Slim and Martin Solveig as well as club hits from Arle, Disciples and Drake.
The second half kicks off with funky disco from Aeroplane, Jamiroquai and Loleatta Holloway; deep house from the likes of Alia & Gallo, Claptone and Round Shaped Triangles before the mood darkens with more underground cuts from Latmun, CamelPhat and Groove Armada, Will Clarke, Tiga, Radiohead and the fantastic “Live Stream” from Mark Knight, Green Velvet and Rene Amesz.
