Brilliant Polish outfit Novi Singers start proceedings, then Passport and HR Big Band 77 go Deutschland beats and brass. Tamba Trio Brazil interlude before we fly back to Germany for a Mr Kriegel sample-tastic workout. Charles Wright and Sid Phillips get back to drum business , before Steve Grossman gets us horizontal and Eugene McDaniels gets us up. We switch it deep to Fela and a classic afrojazz nodder, a left of centre heavy funk banger from Cavaliers Unlimited and THAT El Michels Affair nastiness. Norman Connors, The Nilsmen and Mr Ranelin's Tribe finish us off. Lovely drop.
