Classic Bob James break kicks us off (finding mint copies of all the basics I missed in Germany right now, dead cheap too!), a nice Maxine Weldon cut follows, before we hit a lovely organ grinding Freddy Cole track. Eddie Harris gives us some further funk, then Steve Grossman gets deep funky jazz like on us. Donato takes it to Brazil where we stay with a Bossa Tres big banger. Norman Connors and O'Donel Levy give us some Dingwalls flavour (from 1/12... who was there?), Larry Willis gets funky and Jazz Hip Trio get back to a jazz tip.
