Back to jazz bizness with Robin Jones on a batucada tip, and some deep Roland Haynes/Black Jazz schizzle. Slept-on banger of an album 'Magical Shepherd' by Miroslav Vituos provides 'New York City' ahead of a Zaf/Phil Asher reedit of disco discovery Spirit. Last third we wind through Ellen McEllwaine, Count Buffaloes, the other Doris treat ('Beatmaker') before The Counts and American Gypsy round us off. Lovely stuff.
