Pulled some crackers this week, big on the beats. Bit of a guilty-soft-rock-pleasure break kicks us off with Avalanche, then Julius Brockington lands, and one I missed before on the brilliant Puzzle album. Audrey Freeman Northern niceness then paves the way for a Caterina Valente Shadow break and a De Wolfe library banger on Rubber Riff. We hand over the reins to some tasty beathead bits with Jerry Beeks and Major Force, then lighten it with A Forest Mighty Black's Tenorio Jnr rework for the dancefloor. Azar Lawrence provides some sunshine lightness before we head off through a lovely Christine McVie beat banger, an unpronounceable Russian oddity, that Beasties break from Blues Project, another forgotten banger for me in Eugene McDaniels' Cherrystones before get Oily on the exit.
