Jay James is a DJ, producer who was born in Toronto, Ontario and now the latest member of LAD Music out of Europe.
He started his musical journey 13 years ago, when attending his first (DEMF) Detroit Electronic Music Festival in 1999, now called Movement; while living in Detroit for over several years. At this point he was hooked on DJ’ing and the electronic sounds of Techno become one with his DNA.
Jay currently released his first untitled EP on Feb. 19th, 2015 under LAD Music. He has Djing in clubs in Toronto, Detroit and as far as Cozumel, Mexico.
The influences of the “Detroit Tech” sound are presently heard in his productions and remixes. His sets include the latest and rare classic sounds which first inspired him on this epic voyage; which now is only beginning.
