Chris Vench

Influenced musically through funk, soul and R&B, Chris Vench has been contributing to the Toronto and Canadian electronic music scene for over 15 years. As a producer, Chris cites Curtis Mayfield, The Meters (and many others) as a go-to for inspiration. As a dj, Vench leans towards a bumpy style of tech-house. With dj tastes including Louis Vega, Green Velvet, Joseph Capriati, and Stacey Pullen (and many more), Vench enjoys playing from all influences to create a positive, happy vibe. Chris and long-time friend and collaborator, MC Flipside, are currently working in the studio under their Rovito & Nolin alias, which infuses their shared love of funk music with hip-hop influences.
