John Coltrane Revisited

John Coltrane’s influence on jazz and other musical genres is sometimes obvious, sometimes subtle. We can trace his influence in the spiritual jazz of Pharoah Sanders and Alice Coltrane, in Jack deJohnette and David Murray’s interpretations of his standards, in Steve Coleman’s M-Base, in the electric interpretations by Vinnie Golia and Henry Kaiser, and even in rock music with the Byrds and Neil Young.
A retrospective marking the 100th anniversary of his birth on September 23, 2026.

A joint production by ultrasonic/Wobbling Notes & Fluted Crackle and greasy jalapeño from#eggsinmusic. Thnx to his great contribution.
