«I dance around in my darkness, and pull my shadow up close. I'm fornicating with spirits and making love to the ghosts. I paint a mask on my face and let the underworld know: I have Persephone blood, and pomegranates at my door.» ~ Princess Nokia; Blue Velvet
Getting this month's cosmic forecast was a bummer, but it seems to fit the times. Journeying into hell with Inanna makes about as much sense as anything else in these dark days, but considering we are in the season of welcoming darkness, why not make a pit stop in the underworld on our way to the gas station. Huge thanks again to WATERY LADY who lends her voice and curation to the cool water the first week of each month. Its a feature I look forward to every cycle. This time we split the duties pretty much down the middle (the track list will denote who picked what).
Aside from putting this show together, I've been such a space case all week, I haven't had the mental bandwidth to do anything of value. I did find the time to devote to digesting a new show by Shock Corridor, who are surely in the midst of their busy season. Don't sleep on this mix with a focus on bloodthirsty canines. If you're like me and think every dog is a thing of horror, it'll be right up your alley. Follow the link below and enjoy!

We'll see you next week, but in the meantime, don't take any shit and be safe. Let's arrive back at the oasis in one piece.
