San Francisco Session 2001

After a crucial record-buying binge in San Francisco in the early 00's, I made this mix. I was always trying to find a way to mix my deep house sound with a deep techno vibe. This mix also has a pretty deep bong hit vibe. As a New Yorker, I had this image of San Francisco as a super laid back groovy place. It probably was more so back in 2001 than it is now.

I recorded this on my Mac tower with dual 800 MHz power mac processors... I think. The weird sounds you hear around the 39 minute mark were not intentional, the recording got screwed up, as I didn't have my audio system dialed yet at this time.
