Joyful Loss

Philippians 3:1-21
But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him. 
Chapter 3 of Philippians is one of the richest and most profound chapters in the NT. Paul, in brilliant language calls us to rejoice in our losses when compared to the profit of gaining Christ and to be found in him. Join us as we as a community live and worship and long for a more robust understanding of what it means to truly treasure Christ more than anything in this life.
