We are a group of COMA 303 "Gender & Communication" students who made podcast mini series (3 episodes each in teams of 2-3). Here is the assignment description:

"In this class, you will work in teams of three to record, produce, and edit your own three-episode mini podcast series about a contemporary issue related to gender. Perhaps you want to discuss what it is like to be queer on PLU’s campus, the importance of Lizzo, the pitfalls of white feminism, ongoing colonialism and its influence on gender, advances in intersex representation and political struggle, reality TV like Rupaul’s Drag Race, #metoo as a movement, a historic or current activist group, petty takedowns of problematic public figures, or dadbods.

Draw our attention to a form of social discourse related to gender and open up inquiry into it. Michel Foucault conceptualizes discourse as an historical formation of a way of knowing, being, and thinking. In other words, your task is to educate a public."
