This vinyl mix is a selection of some of my all time favourite Electro tracks from 83-86.

Around 1984-85 when rap/breakdancing was being dismissed by the mainstream music industry as a fad..... The underground disagreed massively !

In contrast, the UK dance scene was evolving rapidly thanks to these key players...
Street sounds and DJ Mike Allen were my gateway to discovering a whole new universe, changing my life & dance music forever.

This mix is inspired by the Electro series that helped shape the landscape for future dance music generations, demonstrating the underground tracks and the crossover classics that are well known and loved to this day.
