“Square Roots” is a unique documentary which chronicles the history of what has literally been the heart of Claremorris as the town has changed, expanded and developed over the centuries.
Documenting its past since its earliest known existence as a bustling market place in 1777 to its present day capacity, this documentary is presented by Shuan McCallig and produced by Claremorris Community Radio.
This hour-long programme tells the Square's story through the stories and memories of the people who know it best – local residents and business owners of past and present, writers and historians.
