Classical Sounds 31/3/15

This weeks Classical Sounds with Andrew Newman I play a symphony by Haydn a slow march by Hande. I also some music that I've not played before, Andante Festivo by Jean Sibelius who's 150th anniversary of his birth is this year.

Last week I was generously sent a CD from a English orchestra called 'Orchestra of the Swan'. The CD had music for strings and violin, featuring a young violinist called Tamsin Whaley-Cohen. For the first time I played the music of RV Williams and his Lark Ascending.
