Desert Drive 8

Drive #8 explores the amalgam of different elements that make up the visual perspective of driving. In the immediate foreground and periphery, a blurred and mundane road and desert scrub, punctuated by Saguaro, ocotillo and mesquite and palo verde trees. In the distance, hazy mountain chains arise from the horizon and gracefully fall back in. And almost ignored, the never ending sky, occasionally draped by gauzy clouds and pierced by the unforgiving sun. Each component is wondrous on its own, and as a whole can become completely ignorable and forgettable, all made possible within the comforts of a speeding capsule.
