Nu Disco

So I've done a mix of so-called "Nu Disco" and other more downtempo stuff. I must say it's taken me time to come around to it. To me a disco remix was 90's house where you'd take a disco sample, process it to death, speed it up and loop it for the whole track! This nu disco stuff sounds too often like someone just re-edited the track, threw some more kicks and hi-hats on the track and took credit for it. But on the other hand, the kicks are thick, the hi-hats are crisp and you don't need to ride the pitch slider like you used to have to... (That's right kids, you used to have to know how to ride the slider to play real disco). So there are some advantages I guess. Hope you like...
