In the cosmological order, humans were made from clay, angels from pure light, and Djinn from "smokeless fire" (marigin min nar). Think of it less like a campfire flame and more like localized, blazing plasma, scorching heat, or pure energy. Because they are made of this fluid, formless energy, they are naturally invisible to the naked human eye.
