This song was written during the pandemic, a time when days bled into one another and life itself seemed to be on hold. No one knew if or when we would return to our “normal”. It represents the monster of boredom, the anxiety of never evolving and the fear of remaining stuck in our ways and who we are. At the same time, it embodies the refusal to stay the same and the desire to let go of what no longer serves us.
