Gracing our cover for this installment is her royal Graceness...who was one of the icons of the disco era in New York, and definitely one of the most visible Black icons. Also, I love this picture of Grace- it shows how stunning she is when not photographed as an object. She is normally associated with Studio 54 or the Paradise Garage, but the title of this installment is the address for the equally legendary Bentley's Discotheque, my cousin's favorite haunt. I was never old enough to go, but the music that defined the Bentley's era came through to me from Kiss and WBLS, and I present some of it for you to dance away your Rona blues. The second half of the set is a more contemporary deep house set...I have been dabbling a lot with dance music from the continent, and I wanted to come back to this side of the water and get some that Blaze/Josh Milan, Seven Davis and others back in rotation. Get up and move! Its the key to our survival!
