For the past 10 years I've made a mix of my favorite songs of the year. Not all new music entirely, just a selection of what I've been listening to. There were a lot of bands and songs that I had to leave off this year unfortunately due to the massive length of the song (Hey Black Yo)))ga Meditation Ensemble!) Speaking of, The Ulver track on this comp was used in one of our BYO))) class Mixes. I've been told that there will be more class mixes on the way so check back if you're into those. I've been listening to a lot of stoner doom and ambient doom along side the songs on this comp. Some artists are merely represented such as is the case for Chelsea Wolfe and Mark Lanegan as well as USNEA who's catalog is untouchable. Other honorable mentions are this years My Dying Bride record, Bongripper's most recent offering and The Owls ANWTS as well. I also wanted to say that I've felt honored to meet a few artists on this mix this year. Hope you dig it.
