Dreamtide

Dreamtide started as a track I created more than twenty years ago when I was first experimenting with electronic music. The melody always stuck with me, even during long stretches when I stopped producing altogether.

Recently I dug up the old project and rebuilt it from scratch with modern tools. The idea was simple: keep the original spirit of the track, but finally give it the sound and structure I always imagined back then.

This version is the result of that process. It’s a mix of the old and the new, shaped by a lot of trial, frustration, and rediscovery along the way.

If nothing else, this track is proof that sometimes ideas hang around for years waiting for the right moment to come back to life.
