Lent and Evangelization

Lent is once again upon us. Tony and Chris discuss how we can truly profit from this season of penance and more importantly how beneficial the Lenten season can be for evangelization. Through the traditional means of prayer, almsgiving and fasting, we can bring the Good News of Salvation to the world. Do not let this opportunity pass us by. Let your sacrifices purify yourself and offer them up for those around you, as St. Paul said, "Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I complete what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the Church" (Col 1:24 RSV)
