Along with being my #1 musical influence, i_o was my idol. I could see myself in his style, attitude and worldview; trying to emulate him gave me so much confidence. This mix includes most of but not all of my favorite i_o tracks. Every single song he ever released was straight fire, and I could play a set with them all. This set was played live on my first take, so it's not the cleanest, but I tried to capture the spirit of i_o's sets the best that I could. I learned how to structure a dj set from listening to i_o's sets, so much inspiration came from his short career.
