Electro house is a subgenre of house music that is characterized by a consistent drum pattern (kick snare kick snare) with a focus on the baseline and glitchy/industrial touches. The baseline is often a derivative of the sawtooth waveform which is a fundamental waveform used in sound synthesis. Electro has the "party" sound as opposed to the "club" sound given it is usually high energy, contains filthy grinding baselines and slashes of grime, and extremely easy to dance/fist pump to given the repetitive drum pattern.
