Rise

A recent historical release from Erstwhile (Keith Rowe's final solo "guitar" performance) "bookends" this mix. Other new/recent albums by Discreet Editions (Reiner Van Houdt, Mara Winter), Gearbox (Abdullah Ibrahim) and Another Timbre (Linda Catlin Smith/Apartment House, James Weeks) are featured. Alvin Lucier's composition for the Ever Present Orchestra, Claire Rousay's recent much-talked-about album "a softer focus", Alaskan Tapes and Poppy Nogood are also included.
