This mix has several selections from the recent Nick Drake covers album "The Endless Coloured Ways". The mix title, "Dissolving" is from a song by Crippled Pilgrims, a Washington, DC band from the mid 1980s. The song "Dissolving" first caught my attention back in those days when their EP "Head Down, Hand Out" was playing in a Dupont Circle record store. The bass player was Mitch Parker, who became a friend about a year later and work colleague for many years. I just found out Mitch recently died and while I hadn't seen or heard from him for a long time the news of his death has made for bittersweet memories.
