C2E July 2011

Bit of a dilemma this month, there always is when there's an abundance of music about, especially when it crosses different genres. Started by trying to do a purely chunky mix, but there wasn't enough of a decent quality to do a whole 80 minutes. Same again with the soulful stuff. In the end went for the best of both worlds. The first 20 minutes are smooth and creamy, and the last 20 are chunky monkey, with a discofied bouncy centre. Mix starts off with Karizma & Spens dub mix of an old classic "Brighter Days". Sean McCabe features three times this month. Does the guy ever sleep?! The first is a mix of "Save Me" by Redsoul. Atjazz must be another workaholic judging by the volume of releases about. Stand out for him right now is his Love Soul mix of "On The Beach". It's back to McCabe again in this UK tag team event, for his mix of "I" on Strictly Rhythm. The last of the soulful collection is "Live 4 Now", a very deep n smooth track. We pick things up courtesy of Mr Chandle
