BTTB 2003-04 // Painè // X-272

Painè Cuadrelli, born 1976 in Mailand, started the project Compl8 ("Complotto") with DJ Lele Sacchie in 1995. They performed all over Italy, had a club residency at the Tunnel in Milano and a Radio Show on Rai 2. In 1997 he signed a contract with the label Temposphere, and released his debut album "Simplemente Asi" in 1999. On this album he combined electronic music with tango, long before Gotan Project (the title song is a good example). In the same year Painè started working together with DJ Fonx and Dj Herrera on a turntable project called I Maniaci Dei Dischi (Record Maniac). In 2003 the 2nd Painè album "Spontaneous" was released - and this is his X-Session for BTTB.
