This mix is by John Stapleton, a Bristol based record collector, who has put together the legendary "Dope On Plastic" series for React plus some compilations for Harmless. In 2002 he produced this mix, and this is what he said back then:
"this one is mostly funk (a lot from original 45's), though with a few other selections as well - no reissues, all original releases"
