Rockers HiFi, earlier known as The Original Rockers have made some of my alltime favorite tunes, especially "Push Push" (1991) and "Stoned" (1993). I contacted them in 1997, when I was working on a radio feature about Rockers HiFi. Later that year they recorded X-017, one of the most amazing X-Sessions ever (12/1997). Unfortunately they stopped working together, and Glyn moved away from Birmingham, but we kept in touch and both did mixes for the X-Series. This one is by Richard aka DJ Dick and he recorded it after he came to Hamburg in May 2002 to play at the BTTB-X-Series-Club-Night at Tanzhalle Hamburg.

Nice flashback! Yeah, Rockers HiFi were big back then, I loved the DJ Kicks "Black" album with Farda P. flowing over the dubby instrumentals...
