In August 2000 I started a series dedicated to Sampling. This was long before whosampled.com made it easy to find musical references - my source were liner notes on record sleeves, my ear and my record collection.
In 2009 I relaunched this series under a new name: Soul <-> HipHop became All Samples Cleared!?

Und ein Kollege sagte 20 Jahre und 6.000 vinyls später zu mir, dass seine Sammlung ohne meine kleine Rappers Delight maxi nie statt gefunden hätte.
Rappers Delight !!!!! Die hab ich in der 7. Klasse als Maxi bei meinen Schulkollegen angeschleppt. Solange gehört bis ich den kompletten Text im Schlaf rappen konnte.
