Broken20 9 : Orphax

Orphax is the solo project of Amsterdam resident Sietse van Erve. He explores the thin line between minimal music, drones, psychedelics and field recordings. In his live settings this exploration comes back through improvised pieces of music that use both pre-recorded sounds as live input. Orphax has released several small scale CDR's and free download releases on small labels and as self released issues. Sietse also played in Dutch psychedelic drone post-rock outfit Zonderland and runs the label Moving Furniture Records.
