DeeperBeach

Welcome to the August 2013 mix.

I’ve decided to record something out of my comfort zone and chose a style of house I listen to, dance to but funnily enough do not mix/play.

DeeperBeach is mix of deep house, tech house, disco house and some beach house for good measure. It’s uplifting, chilling, dancy and catchy BUT it certainly has my nostalgia touch to it.

As you know, over the years, my style has been very much bringing the old back. I love playing the classics or even new remixes of old tracks. In this mix a lot of new producers have remixed or sampled songs from my past and I thought what better to launch myself into a genre I don’t usually play than to have a little safety guard like my favorite artists... We have Madonna, Sade, Destiny’s Child, Aliyah, Pet Shop Boys, Loleatta Holloway, Chanel and even Prince!

So here goes... Hope you enjoy something different... let’s take it DeeperBeach ;)
