Playing tracks by

Big chocolate, Beck and Black Star.

The first mix I was ever involved in. My friend (Tron'n'Deetr) played it out on the decks and helped give some creative input. I picked about 70% of the tracks to show classmates some of my tastes. He filled in some spots where things just worked better in a technical sense. I learned about mixing from making this and have been playing with my Traktor setup since then. I'm pretty sure I was supposed to give the song a specific name for DUBSPOT but I can't recall as it's been a few weeks so I'm sure you guys will figure it out via the links I send out..

Setlist:
Rocky Raccoon
3 Fist Style - Datsik
Banana Clipper - El-P & Killer Mike (off their new "Run the Jewels" album)
Macaroni Necklace - Big Chocolate
Boombox - Datsik Remix of something I can't recall
Loser... (Cold Cuts Into...) - Beck
Twice Inna Lifetime - Blackstar (Mos Def & Twalib Kwali ft 15 more rappers)
Good Evening Mr Hitchcock - Gramatik
Biochemical Equation - MF DOOM ft RZA or vice versa (Datsik Remix)

Also some more Gramatik would've made me happy but I wanted to keep this short and sweet anyways. If none of you Dubspotters have checked him out it's anything from instrumental hip hop to dubstep with live guitar in there. One of the most creative guys making EDM right now. The idea of "genre's" as a concept must disgust him and he's managed to fuse some really interesting ones together, especially the stuff out on his newest in progress album "Age of Reason" I'd recommend the song "Bluestep" as a jumping off point. Fusion between the Blues and Dubstep.

Again thanks to Zack Tamplin for the hard work / putting up with me, and blowing up his transistor while making this shit.

Would've liked to work in some Aesop Rock/Skrillex/a non-remix Wu-Tang Song. But hey, I'm happy with it.
