Disco's Revenge!

Punk and Rock groups ridiculed it, the music industry exploited it, and corporate America overdosed on it. For these reasons, Disco was one of music's shortest ever popular genres. But from it's ashes spawned scores of different types of dance music using it's four-to-the-floor rhythm as their basis, such as house, garage, techno and trance. However harsh Disco may have been treated, it's finger prints are everywhere in modern music, meaning it's definitely had it's revenge!!
