Earlier this year, Boudica’s music conference returned for the fourth year in a row! Supporting women, trans+ and non-binary individuals as they get involved in the music industry, the creative platform held the one-day event at London’s FOLD in January. The day was filled with talks and panel discussions with DJs and industry figures such as Jaguar, Nadine Noor, Vanessa Maria, Downtown Music and many more. Talks spanned from how to create a sustainable career in music to the future of LGBTQIA+ events in the UK.
Founded in 2019 by Samantha Togni, Boudica is a worldwide event series, a record label and a conference series. The conference has served to share insights and tools for gender minorities to take their careers in the music industry to the next level.
Boudica has also worked with brands such as Pioneer DJ and AlphaTheta to programme workshops, talks and events throughout Europe. Back in 2021, Togni shared her vision for the conference with Mixcloud as well as tips on how to run an online event on our platform.
