I try to bring in a lot of unfriendly sounds into my dance sets. These days all the normo-smashing influences from my anarcho-gothy roots have come out to play—shards of queer noise and obscure experimental tracks, manipulated power tool sounds, DIY samples and abrupt changes are some of my favorite current devices. This mix rather encapsulates the last year; lots of abrupt changes occurred then as well. But at the end, at least ya got the lord.
