Cool-guy Deeptech

I started a playlist on my iPhone about a year ago, and I called it the first thing that came to mind: “Cool guy deeptech”. It’s a sound I could also describe as “the kind of music I would play at an outdoor festival in Belgium while wearing sunglasses” or “chunky, groovy house music with round growly sub basslines that makes my head wiggle from side to side”. I’ve always loved it, and I rarely play it out in SF, but I want to share this year long curation with you (the listener). It represents a lot of my favorite guys in the production scene, many of whom are super influential when it comes to the popular stuff we all love hearing on big systems. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
