Fighting Wildfires With Algorithms

The wildfires in California (among other places) have become a devastating annual affair - causing massive damage and taking lives with every outbreak. Researchers are now looking to machine learning and algorithms to help detect, and possibly end, these fires before they can turn catastrophic in the future.
