This time Becci is talking to a friend who just returned from Chile. The two girls talk about the landscape, culture, politics, studies, feminism, poetry, a capitalistic pope and empanadas!
The show is accompanied by loads of music. In the first song Ruiz is playing the Charango (a small Andean stringed instrument which probably originated after the European instruments were introduced during colonialization). The two Cumbia songs were chosen, because it is one of the most popular Chilean dance forms. The song by Grupo Aracaunia was meant to symbolize the Mapuche. Víctor Jara was a Chilean theater director, singer-songwriter and activist. He was killed after the coup 1973. Gabriela Mistral and Violeta Parra are considered one of the most important Chilean poets. Los Prisoneros were a punk band that brought a new music genre to Chile while standing up to social injustice in the 80s. Quilapayún's song used to be the anthem of the Chilean resistance.
