Explaining Tragedies

Dr. Kyle Pruett, an internationally known child psychiatrist, expert on children, family relationships and fathers, and a member of The Goddard School’s Education Advisory Board joins us to touch on one of the more serious topics we’ve covered to date. Dr. Pruett will help us work through typical questions and concerns we may have when faced with tragic news – Do we share with our children the news of a tragedy? How much is too much? Can we completely shelter our children? What about what they may hear from their friends?
