AXTPC015 - Axtone Presents: Axwell

In what is sure to be the highlight of the well-received podcast series thus far, Axtone Records rounds off 2015 by welcoming owner and talisman Axwell, to the airwaves of ‘Axtone Presents’. Episode fifteen comes alongside Axtone’s tenth anniversary with an accompanying slew of new singles and a limited edition box set that includes vinyl, 52 page hardback book and artwork print.

To jumpstart the podcast, Axwell enlists Swedish newcomer Klahr’s rendition of Adrian Lux’s ‘Torn Apart’. Progressing into a selection of influential Trance classics, Axwell evokes the names of artists such as Armand Van Helden, Stardust, and long-time friend Bob Sinclar as inspiration, later citing ‘This Time’ from supergroup Axwell /\ Ingrosso as a personal favourite production.

As it progresses into a 30-minute mix chock-full of infamous Ax edits, listeners and fans alike will notice Axwell’s diverse track selection and appreciation for all things music.
