Teaching the Parents

In this episode of Autism Spectrum Radio Dr. Frea examines the most important aspect of an autism therapy program: The parent as a teacher. Over the past two episodes of Autism Spectrum Radio we’ve taken a broad look at autism from a parental perspective. In this final episode in our focus on the parents we look at training the most important teacher in a child with autism’s life, their parent. The knowledge and understanding parents have of their child’s therapy program can often times be the determining factor between success and failure. In this episode we look forward to discussing some of the most effective strategies to achieving success, and techniques to avoid failure.
